My car is still acting up, My tech guy thinks my factory PCM might be acting up. I looking to borrow one to check out and see if mine is bad, If it is I would like to buy it from who ever owns it. So my question top all my Prowler friends is, Do you have a PCM I can check my car out with? If you do please get a hold of me.

what's it doing? I remember when Ed's Cat's stroker wouldn't run right and it turned out to be a vacuum hose had come off. I think it was near the firewall, down low.

My fuel loop keeps changing the fuel to air mixture, Where it should stay in the 14"s it keeps changing from 11 to 16"s all in a mater of a second. it wont hold it where it should be. I've been working on the car since I got it home, It keeps throwing "Misfire codes " Anywhere from P0300,P0301,p0302,p0303,p0304,p0305,p0306. It is different every time I clear codes. I put new coil pak's on it and it did not change anything. I put new plugs in it and just changed the gap with no change in anything. I even put new ignition capacitors on and no change. Every thing else is new.
So my computer expert is telling me that the PCM is not working right and it should be holding the mixture at what we set it at. But it's not. So he wants me to try a diffident PCM to is if it dose the same thing or if it straightens it out.
I've check and double checked the vacuum lines and had them all replaced and put new ones on it.
The car stales out at corners and even back fire's sometimes. But I think I got the back fire problem fixed, I well reset the spark plug gap and try a new PCM in hopes this well fix the problem.
That's where I am at this point. The car runs fine when driving down the road I just want everything right on it and won't stop till get it right.

I have a spare PCM/ECM for a '99 I'd be willing to let you try out.

Buddy first off thank you for your offer. But a 1999 PCM will not work on my car. I need a 2000, 2001 or a 2002 PCM. They changed them in 2000 so I need a newer one. But thank you for the offer. ( that's what I'm looking for, to try one out )
